Alright then! Let’s get on with our list of the best EOTech magnifiers below.
If you want a solid magnifier, and you don’t want to dump a lot of money, this is definitely the low cost solution you are looking for. The multi-coated lens transmits tons of light giving you a bright image and a clear field of view. Even at this price range, the unit is sealed and nitrogen filled to make it waterproof and weatherproof.
The scope is adjustable for windage and elevation and it does come with a flip mount, though the design is perhaps a bit different than what you are used to seeing. The quick detach mechanism allows you to swap this magnifier from weapon to weapon as needed, probably this sight’s biggest advantage. The eye relief is probably it’s biggest fall back. 2 inches is about all you are going to get from this one.
Vortex advertises their magnifier as “simple, fast, and effective,” and that is a combination that rings true. This purged and sealed multi-coated optic makes a perfect combination with your EOTech sighting system, and it’s simple to use.
Press the button, and drop it to the side and out of the way for close quarters engagements, or plinking bunches of clay pigeons at various short ranges quickly and effectively. Snap it back in place and drop on a bench or on the ground to get precision aiming at 100 yards. The optics are fully multi-coated for maximum light transmission. The mount is rock solid. And every engagement, whether sniping critters or punching cans is all fun and no hassle.
Even with the rugged simplicity of this optic, it still comes in at half the price of a genuine EOTech sight. Is it as rugged and reliable at the top end makers? Not really. It’s tough, but I wouldn’t want to go walking into battle with it. The optics are up to snuff, however, and the eye relief is almost magical. Overall, this is a great optic for the price you’re paying for it.
This magnifier is still way less than a genuine EOTech, but it’s a solid design that features a huge 15m field of view at 100 meters. This is another optic that comes in on the skimpy side for eye relief, at around two and a half inches, but it’s a very usable design.
Something else to look out for on this model is that crazy ruby-red coating on the glass. It’s coated, and it’s better than nothing, but you simply won’t get the same light transmission that you get from better coatings, resulting in a darker image.
The mounting is rock solid, and it comes with a quick detach system. It mounts easy, and comes at a decent price point. Check the best price for this EOTech magnifier on Amazon right now.
If you want the best for your weapon, and you have an EOTech holographic sight, why not stick with the rugged, high-performance you expect in a magnifier? Cost? Yeah, there’s that, but if you truly want the best there is only one. The original G33 magnifier from EOTech.
The EOTech name means rugged and reliable, tested on battlefields all over the world. There’s a reason soldiers consistently trust EOTech with the optical systems on their M4s. Because they work, and they keep working. You don’t need to worry about the magnifier falling out of adjustment, or the picture not being bright enough. Add to that the quick detach system on the mount, and this is probably the only magnifier you will ever need.
As for any downsides? There aren’t any. It’s an EOTech and the best price for this magnifier is on Amazon right now.
