The Best Night Sights for Glock 19

It’s about time we at Gun Laser Guide did a review on the Streamlight TLR-4. I’ve had my hands on this excellent laser/light combo for over a month now and I’m dying to share my thoughts with you. We’ll go over the good, the bad (very little bad) and everything you need to know about this excellent gun laser light combination
We think the Streamlight TLR4 is best suited for those people interested in a superior laser sight/light combination for their home defense pistol, rifle or shotgun.
That’s not to say that you couldn’t use the TLR-4 on your carry gun but you’ll probably need a different holster for it to fit.
This laser sight and light combination would be excellent for use on your AR-15 or home defense shotgun as well. It features a standard picatinny rail so it’s really easy to attach to almost any weapon with an accessory rail.
My favorite feature of the Streamlight TLR-4 is that it’s definitely one of the lighter laser/light combinations out there right now. It weighs in at right about 2.9 ounces. This makes it perfect for attaching to the undermount rail of a Glock, Sig, Walther or any of your favorite pistols.
Ok, next favorite feature: it’s got a momentary on and off switch that is super easy to use with either hand. That’s really a great feature if you don’t want the laser/light on all the time – ideal in a home defense situation.
The Streamlight TLR-4’s body is made of heavy duty polymer to make it lightweight and durable. I don’t see any reason to go with aluminum or metal here, it’s very solidly built with no rattles or loose parts when you shake it. It also can take a shake or two at the range, withstanding recoil from 9mm all the way up to .45 caliber rounds without any malfunction for either the light or the laser.

This little laser light for your gun is packed full of features that are really convenient and useful:
On Amazon, the Streamlight TLR-4 laser light combo has over 700 reviews with an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars – now that’s good.
Overall, the TLR-4 generally has very good reviews online. Most people that have left negative reviews comment that the laser adjustment screw is a bit of a problem because it can easily be stripped if using the wrong tool. This seems like a minor issue for an otherwise great laser light combo.

The Streamlight TLR-4 is an American-made laser sight and light combination that makes a great tactical addition to any gun with a standard accessory rail including Glock handguns, AR-15, tactical shotguns and more.
The Streamlight combines light weight, small form factor and durability in a nice package for your money. I really like the brightness on it and I think it stands above most other tactical gun mounted lights by itself.
The red laser is also very bright and is clearly visible in low-light situations and even does a good job in the full sun for a red laser (you can read our article on red vs. green laser sights here).
If you’re looking for a laser/light combination tactical accessory for your gun, we definitely think the TLR-4 is among the leaders.
